Scotty, looking at either Friday evening or saturday afternoon. Stay tuned! Not that you will be picking early.

I updated the list of players taken and the complete draft order and picks made so far in two of the threads above. Please keep in mind this doesn't include Welly's keepers which we hope to get later tonight. I wanted to put this list out as soon as possible so you all could get an idea for which players that were reserved. Please look over the lists for any errors I may have made, so we can correct them before the draft starts. I am not too concerned about spelling typos, player positions or what MLB team they are on. I am more concerned that I incorrectly listed the draft order or messed up on someone's keepers. Any error we find before the draft, or during the draft that doesn't have an effect on the draft we can easily fix.

Errors found and reported so far... Baltimore's 26th round pick was forfeited to the 28th round for dropping Casey Blake as a keeper during last season. And on the draft order list, I put Carlos Lee instead of Cliff Lee as Augusta's 17th round pick, but I had Cliff Lee as taken on the "players taken" list. I updated the draft order to show Cliff Lee as his 17th round pick. Carlos Lee is available in case there is any confusion. Cliff Lee is not.

Remember as the draft goes on to be careful not to pick a player that is already on someone elses roster. It will likely happen a couple times. In case it does, the person following you may not notice your mistake. We will try to contact you of your mistake, but it is your responsibility to go back and re-pick, even if the next person after you has already picked. If it's caught in time, or the person picking after you realizes it and gives you some slack, you may be able to make your pick without the person (or persons) picking after you picking.

The Commish had Bryan Morrow on my keeper list for round 21, but it should have been Brandon Morrow. The draft string does have the correct name.

Remember for those of you who have 2 picks in a row. You must make your 2 picks within the four hour time limit, you don't get 8 hours to make your double picks. This mostly applies to the people picking at the beginning and the end of the snake.

Hey, was that last post for my benefit. I have two picks in a row coming up, but I hadn't planned to take 8 hours, maybe 5, but never 8.

Enjoy these 2 picks in a row while you can Rogues. Don't get used to it. I'm the one to reap those benefits!

Hey everyone, remember the time change today. Doesn't appear that the board is configured for the time change automatically. I may be tinkering with it to get the correct time to appear. If there is any confusion on when your time expires don't hesitate to ask. Four hour time limit continues until the end of this round at which time it will be reevaluated (most likely changed to three).
It appears for now you will have to change your settings on the time/date stamp by one hour or time zone to the east (one less GMT number). For example, Pacific Time Zone people should select Mountain time zone, Eastern Time Zone, should select GMT-4 time zone etc... That seems to do the trick. To do this, after you login, click on the "members" link at the top of the screen, then in the members table, select your username. Then under the display time box select the appropriate time zone. If you need help, I can do it for you. If for some reason things get adjusted for the time change and we need to switch back, just reverse the steps.
For example, this message should be time stamped 8:32 PDT 9:32 MDT 10:32 CDT 11:32 EDT

The four hour rule is still in effect for the rest of the 3rd round. We will be dropping to a THREE hour time limit at the beginning of the 4th round. For most of you this isn't a problem, but it does help keep the draft moving when someone is away and unavailable by phone and or didn't send a list in. Remember that getting skipped is not a punishment, don't take it personally if you end up being skipped. If we didn't have such a rule, the draft would take forever.
On a side not, both Bill and I will be gone this weekend (me camping, Bill at Indian Wells) and will have spotty internet access. Looking for someone to help maintain the "Players Taken" and "Draft Order" threads and to enter picks for myself if I send a list out. Any takers?

Thanks guys. Thanks for the 2nd place offer Bill, but I'm looking forward to three-peating this year. I guess I get The Mexicutioner Soria for my birthday this year because I gave Welly my two picks from today. Did he capitalize with them? Zimmerman and Young? We shall see.
