All keepers are in. Give me a day or two to set the draft order. I will post the keepers in the keepers thread after I have proofread them for mistakes.

I just want to thank "Mike - Team Dude" for all the effort in putting this league together again. The Rogues are coming off a injury riddled and disappointing season and ready to make some headlines on and off the field in 2013.

And thanks to Mr Zill for putting together all the rosters, contracts and draft penalties for me this year.

Yes, thanks to Mike and Zill for all of their hard work. It takes a lot of effort to keep a league organized. I had been hoping to help them some but it seems like I have just been swamped with work lately.
I finally had a chance to double check some stuff today though and I got the same penalty results for everyone.
The only item I found that looks to be in error is regarding Brett Anderson for Youth In Revolt.
The 2013 Keeper list has:
Anderson,Brett,P,OAK,YIR, 15-3/3
But the 2012 Draft thread has him as a 28th round pick by the former Expos:
28.05 Expos selects P-Brett Anderson (OAK)
I don’t show any transactions involving Anderson; he was on the Expos/YIR roster all year. Maybe Mike had a flashback to 2011 when he had him. 8)
Otherwise I only found one other minor typo: I am sure “Cain,Matt,P,SF,GOT, 2-2/1” is supposed to be “Cain,Matt,P,SF,GOT, 2-1/1”
Regards,
Dennis

Hi all, I copied and pasted the entire batter and pitchers lists from Yahoo and pasted them into Excel today and then merged the owner and contract information from our rosters into them. I thought I would share that information with everyone to try to prevent people from taking players that were kept and hopefully make the draft go smoother. I have attached the .xlsx file here. Enjoy, Dennis Attachments:

There will be one correction to the draft board once I hear from YIR.
Brett Anderson was a 28-X
and needs to be kept as either a 28-1 27-1/2 26-1/3
instead of 15th round. This shouldn't effect the early rounds. So once I hear from YIR I will make this update. Just a heads up.
[COMMISH EDIT BELOW] YIR reserved Brett Anderson at 26-1/3 Files have been updated.

Just wanted to chime in following Brett Baltimore's comments from yesterday.
First off, this league is going on it's 9th season. There should be nobody that needs or expects a text message to know that it's time to pick and that you're on the clock. I know as much as anyone that we're all busy and have more important things in our lives with family, work, etc. But knowing the 10pm-5am downtime, if it's not during those blackout hours, you should expect that the draft will get to you at some point during the day - and it very well might be first thing in the morning (8:00am) here on the East Coast. And if it does, and you happen to be skipped, there shouldn't be any complaining about it.
I for one don't like to give anyone my lists or potential picks. I'd rather be skipped and jump back in with my own pick if that were to happen. Other people are OK with providing players to Bill or Mike or whomever and that's fine. Personal preference.
OK, having said that, I do think that only a 3-hour window is too short, especially since some of us are on the West Coast, I think some might be central US, and then a few of us are East Coast. Most other leagues I do with extended board drafts have 12 hour windows but I think we should have at least 6. I do think that later on in the draft we could lower it to 3 hours maybe from Round 20 on.
My $0.02.

6 hours is way too long. We'd be here all month and people would start getting pissed off at each other (Welly World, Aloha) for taking too long. Stopping the draft for someone getting skipped? Sure, it sucks for that person but why not give someone permission to pick for you if X number of picks are made after you get skipped. Only reason I can see stopping the draft is if there is some kind of error and it is in the best interest of the draft to stop the draft and fix it.
Options. Send in lists, let someone pick for you or just live with getting skipped. If I am more than three hours late, I expect you guys to skip me. If I am 10 hours late, I expect to have been skipped and multiple picks made without me and I won't be mad.

I agree with Team Dude on this one. If you give certain players a 6 hour limit they take the whole 6 hours. I called Welly once and told him he was up. He wasn't busy, but he said I have 3 hours right? He then drafted right on the 3 hour mark. I view the 3-hours as a limit not the amount of time it should take you to draft. If we all took the 3-hours we would never finish. I also don't mind entering picks for people or sending my picks to someone. If you send your picks to someone who doesn't pick for a while, everyone on your short list will probably be taken long before that person drafts. In most cases you only need to send 2-3 players at the most. You don't really give away much strategy. I have a long trip planned satrting next Thursday and I will certainly be sending picks to people to get put in.

While Augusta did pick at 6:38AM ET/3:38AM PT Tuesday morning, Baltimore still did not go on the clock until 8AM ET/5AM PT, and the next pick was not made until 11:20 AM ET/8:20 AM PT.
The bottom line to me is that everyone should be expected to check the board every morning within 3 hours of the blackout period ending to see what has happened overnight and where they are at. I do not think that it is unreasonable at all to expect the people on the east coast to check the board once before 11AM their time, because I expect those of us on the west coast to check it by 8AM each morning too (and if there is a chance of it being close to my pick I will set my alarm to get up early).
That being said I am all for anything that improves communication and I don’t mind helping out. I am pretty much a full-time software developer now, so I am at the computer and on the board continually from 8AM to midnight PT. Other than some plans next Tuesday evening and the occasional 1 hour meeting my schedule is pretty clear the next couple of weeks, so please feel free to send me a PM here on the board with your list of picks (a PM is best, but you can also call/text 805-901-2937 or send an email to 8059012937@mms.att.net).

Ok, guess I'll just shut up and make my picks. 3 hour window has never been and is not a problem here.

I do, however, think that the deadline on 6.07 Baltimore Orioles should read 6:32AM PDT, not 5:32.
